Active Advantage Charges
On behalf of Renton Wilderness Twilight Camp team we would like to apologize if this has impacted your family.
It has come to our attention that many previous registrants have been billed by Active for "Active Advantage." This was not something we were aware of and want to bring it to your attention so if you have not already been charged you can cancel it before you are. Please follow the directions below that I retrieved from their website and edited for clarity as I followed them myself.
To Disable ACTIVE Advantage Membership Auto-Renewal:
Below are step-by-step instructions for disabling auto-renew for your ACTIVE Advantage premium membership. This will prevent future billings but still allow you to access benefits until your next payment is due.
Visit ACTIVE.com and click Sign In in the upper right-hand corner
Note: Sign in using your ACTIVE.com or ACTIVE Advantage email and password. These credentials are one in the same
Once signed in, hover over your name that now appears in the upper right-hand corner and click View Profile from the menu that appears
Once your profile page loads, click Active Advantage under the list of destinations on the left-hand side
Note: This page gives you quick and easy details about your Advantage membership
At the top it will say Your membership is active and will renew automatically.
Scroll to the bottom of the table and find the words and Click the link Cancel my membership
Again we are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused for anyone. It is unclear to us when in the registration process this was added. It appears to be an annual membership of some kind. It is our families from 2023 that are seeing the charges appear as it has been a year since they first used Active.
