Day in the Life

Your camper might spend the day as follows:

Spirit Day: Tutu & Tuxedos Tuesday!

 Drop off – 12:45-1PM, enjoy singing songs with PAs pre-camp

1:00-1:15 – Announcements and opening flag ceremony

1:15 – head to unit, fill water bottles, put lunch in cooler if needed

1:30-2:15 – First Aid – accomplish about 3 steps of the Junior First Aid badge and corresponding Safety Award

2:15-3:00 – Songs Station, practice at least one round, one action song, plus unit requests.

3:00-3:45 – Unit time – Work on your unit’s SWAPs for the week, discuss what your unit wants to do for the overnight skit

3:45-4:30 – Lunch in your unit.

4:30-5:15 – Firecraft – Learn what 3 things a fire needs to burn, practice setting up for a cone fire, log cabin fire, and lean-to fire. Review safety precautions around the fire circle, light and extinguish a small A-frame starter fire.

5:15-6:00 – Field Games

6:00-6:45 – Archery

6:45-7:00 – In unit, tidy up, pack what you need to take home

7:00-7:30 – to field, sing with PAs, announcements, lost & found, closing flag, pickup.
